Who we are
Kerry Pierce is a non-traditional law student and also a board member of the Spirit of Service organization. This organization, in partnership with the PA Bar Association, organizes the Dauphin County “Wills for Heroes” program that provides free wills and estate documents for veterans, first responders, and their families. The goal of the Harrisburg Heroes Run is to bring awareness to this program, honor the sacrifices of our bravest local heroes, and use the proceeds to host additional Wills for Heroes events. Kerry founded the Pierce Group Initiative to help with this and other philanthropic efforts.
Kerry’s husband is an Air Force veteran, her father was a pararescueman in Vietnam, and many of her other family members have served in the armed forces. She has great respect for veterans, first responders, and as people who help others.
Kerry is also involved in setting up fundraising events for the Dauphin County Bar Foundation’s “We Care About Children” campaign that pays for an attorney at MidPenn Legal for low-income children and their families. See her other events at www.KerrysEvents.com.
